Vera E Kantrovich was a Professor of violin a Trinity Laban Conservatoire, London and inaugurated the Vera Kantrovich Prize for solo strings in 1976. She was leader of the London Orpheus Orchestra and worked with amateur orchestras in the home counties. She married Ronald Duncan in 1932.
