William Howard, b. Edinburgh, 1831; d. Dumfries 1877

Violinist, conductor music teacher and concert promoter.
Member of the orchestra of the Theatre Royal Edinburgh under Alexander Mackenzie and was conductor of the Edinburgh Choral Union from 1863-1865.
