Hancock, Oliver
Oliver Hancock was (in 2017) Sub-Organist at Portsmouth Cathedral and School Organist at The Portsmouth Grammar School. He read for a degree in Music at Jesus College, Oxford where he was also Organ Scholar, followed by study for an MMus in Choral Studies at Cambridge University. From 2008 to 2012 Oliver held the post of Assistant Organist to Ely Cathedral Girls' Choir, and for the academic year 2011-12 he was Organ Scholar at Selwyn College, Cambridge. Oliver is the Founder and Director of The Nelson Consort, an eight-part choir specialising in a capella choral music.
