Dickson, Muriel 'Poppy', 1903-1990
Constance Muriel Dickson was born in Edinburgh and studied singing in Florence, Italy with Luigi Ricci.
She sang with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company and at the Metropolitan opera. In later years she taught singing at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow.
Her nickname was 'Poppy'.
