Byrne, Nick

Nick Byrne was born in Liverpool and took up the cello at the age of eight when he began lessons with Gethyn Jones.  He went on to further study at the Royal Academy of Music in London with David Strange and Colin Carr.  He is (in 2017) cellist with the Liverpool String Quartet and often performs as an orchestral musician with the Royal Northern Sinfonia, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic and BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
