Howard David Blake, b. London, 1938

English pianist, composeer and conductor who won a scholarship to study piano and composition at the Royal Academy of Music.
Awarded an O.B.E. in 1994 for services to music.

Most well-known for composing the score for the animated film "The Snowman"
