Binks, Adam, 1980-

Adam Binks was born in Wakefield and educated at the Queen Elizabeth grammar School there.  As a chorister in Walkefield Cathedral he gained an interest in the organ, studying with Gareth Green and Jonathan Bielby before becoming a music undergraduate at the University of Wales, Bangor and Organ Scholar of Bangor Cathedral.  He went on to undertake postgraduate research at the University of Edinburgh studying the life and works of Kenneth Leighton; taking organ lessons with Matthew Owens.
