The Palestrina Club
The Palestrina Club, under the direction of Mr Douglas Dickson was established for the exploration in private of the scores of this great master of unaccompanied vocal music and public appearances were not originally contemplated.
Members of the ensemble who took part in the University concert in 1936 were: Mrs Darwin, the Misses Nancy Amos, Dodo Wands and Pauline Hayden, and Messrs Patrick G. Smythe, William Taylor, Frank Lake and Douglas McRae.
