Il Rossignolo

Il Rossignolo is an Italian ensemble which specializes in the study and performance of early music played on historic instruments.  The groups was founded and is coordinated by flautists Marcia Testi and Martino Noferi and harpsichordist Ottaviano Tenerani, who is also the director.

In 2017 Il Rossignolo is the ensemble in residence at the Instituto di Alti Formazione Musicale Rinaldo Franci in Siena, Italy, where it coordinates the Department of History pf Musical Interpretation which offers courses in early musical instruments and chamber music.
