My role is as an independent researcher with an interest in the Reid Concerts and the database was set up to support my PhD research.
I worked in the Faculty of Music at the University from 1977 to 2000 and much of the information in this database is taken from my personal observation and knowledge of musical life in Edinburgh. 
The content is as complete as I have been able to make it in the time available before the site was archived.
This database was archived in January 2025 and can no longer be added to or amended.
