The first half of this programme, the Symphony by Donald Francis Tovey was broadcast live on the BBC wireless, Scottish programme, 391.1m, at 8 pm on Thursday 25 February 1937   Recording available on allmusic.com  Tovey Symphony in D
It was publicised and featured in the Radio Times, issue dated, 19 February 1937: "Reid Orchestral Concert, Sir Donald F. Tovey will conduct his own Symphony in D tonight at 8.0"   The broadcast of the concert was preceded at 7.45 pm by an "Introductory talk to the Reid Orchestral Concert by Mary Grierson"

This concert was broadcast live on BBC radio.
