Pantalon clavichord by Ambrosius Pfaff (2016) after attrib. C.E. Friederici.  This is the first modern-day copy of a Pantalon Clavichord. The name is in honour of Pantaleon Hebenstreit who was renowned for his playing of giant dulcimers; it was Louis XIV who gave him the name 'Pantaleon' after hearing him at Versailles.

Thanks to Ambrosius Pfaff and Jonathan Santa Maria Bouquet for the preparation and tuning of the instruments used in today's concert.
