The Haydn symphony no. 93 is recorded as being in D minor, but the key is D major. In addition, it is not known which Prelude in D major for organ and orchestra by Bach was performed on this occasion; it is possible that it was an arrangement of a work originally for organ solo.
This concert was broadcast live on BBC radio.
