There were no printed notes. Professor Oakeley prefaced his performance by a few remarks on the various pieces, referring such of the audience as were to be present at the Reid Concert to the concert-book (to be published in a day or two by Mr Grant, Princes Street), more particularly for two detailed accounts of Beethoven's "Eroica" Symphony.
