It was not the Reid Commemoration Concert.
This was held on Monday 13 February but there is no information available on this concert.
Venue:
Orchestra of eighty performers, consisting of the Edinburgh Orchestra, and (by the kind permission of Major Fitzgerald and Officers of the West York Rifles), the Bands of the 13th Light Dragoons and West York Rifles.
First appearance of Mr Lambert, from Her Majesty's Chapel-Royal.
On this occasion will be produced Handel's Serenata 'Acis and Galatea'
And a Grand Miscellaneous Selection
The three Bands will perform the Overtures to 'William Tell', 'Oberon' and a Grand Operatic Selection,
General Rei'd's March 'The Garb of Old Gaul'
by 150 performers, Vocal and Instrumental

'At the end of the first part (of the programme) General Reid's March was performed by the united bands and chorus, and was enthusiastically re-demanded'.
Notice: Notwithstanding the heavy expenses attending this concert, there will be no alteration in the prices. The Centre Seats, however, will be kept strictly reserved.
