The concert is noteworthy for the early performance of Hacker's 'conjectural restoration' of Mozart's clarinet concerto, originally written for basset clarinet, and for the performance of a new English version of Benda's 'Ariadne auf Naxos' by Roger Savage. The final work in the programme is not identifiable.
