According to the programme notes, two of the Hebridean songs performed by Patuffa Kennedy-Fraser (accompanied by herself on the celtic harp) were used by Bantock in his Hebridean symphony: "the sea-gull of the land-under-waves"; and "Kishmul's galley" (pp.12-13).
The words of the Hebridean songs are given (pp.9-10), as well as the origins of some of the tunes, words and accompaniments.
