Ward, David 1941-

David Ward was born in Yorkshire and studied composition with Alexander Goehr and bass trombone with Sidney Langston. His career included playing and arranging commercial music, and intervals of outdoor pursuits in Scotland and New Zealand. In 1989 he was concentrating on composition and living on the island of Yell in Shetland.
