Many of his original manuscripts and a catalogue of his works are available at the Centre for Research Collections (CRC) at the University of Edinburgh.

The Kenneth Leighton Trust was formed in 1993 in order to promote British music in general and Leighton's music in particular, through recordings, performances and commissions.
