Lauermann, Herbert, 1955-

Herbert Lauermann was born in Vienna in 1955.  He took private composition lessons with Ernst Vogel before, in 1975, enrolling at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna from where he graduated with a degree in musical education and a degree in composition.  Herbert continued his studies with Erich Urbanner before entering the teaching profession at Bundesrealgymnasium, Stockerau and becoming a lecturer in music at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna in 1987.
