Lanchbery, John, 1923-2003

Composer and conductor John Arthur Lanchbery was born in London.  He was conductor of the Royal Ballet from 1959 to 1972, Australian Ball from 1972 to 1977 and the American Ballet Theatre from 1978-1980.
