Dunn, Colin, 1974-

Colin Dunn was born near Glasgow and graduated from the Faculty of Music, University of Edinburgh, with BMus (Hons) in 1995.  He continued his studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, specialising in composition.  His composition teachers included Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, Sir James MacMillan, Robert Saxton, Simon Bainbridge and John McLeod.  Following his time at Guildhall Colin went on to pursue studies in the History of Art at the University of London and worked for Boosey & Hawkes Music Publishers.
