Brochures, posters & notices

This page lists available brochures, leaflets and posters for the Reid Concerts detailed on this website. It also includes a number of documents related to the History of Music at the University of Edinburgh. The brochures contain publicity for the concerts promoted by the Faculty/Department of Music/Reid School of Music PLUS, from the 1970s, outline information about concerts and performances by University of Edinburgh student orchestras, choirs, ensembles, opera club, chamber music club, etc. Between 1841 and 1916 brochures were not used, as often there was only one concert or short series. Programmes for many of the Reid concerts in the 19th century, early 20th century and from the 1940s have been scanned and are available on the individual concert pages. From 2006 the brochures include photographs of selected artists and instruments, as did the brochures for the Sypert Summer Concert Series'.
