Missa de Gloria (Dublin Festival Mass), opus 82 (1980)

Based on the 12-century Salisbury chant for Easter Day, this work was commissioned by Irish Life Ltd. for the Dublin International Festival and first performed by Gerard Gillen in St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin on 29 June 1980.  The United Kingdon premiere was given by John Birch at St Michael's, Cornhill, London on 20 July 1981.
