Publicity and Reviews:

Review of the concert in "The Scotsman", 18th February, 1955
"Sidney Newman could have paid no greater tribute to the memory of his predecessor than by his inclusion of the concerto in yesterday's Reid Memorial Concert and by conducting it with such conspicuous care and sympathy".  In Eldon Fox it has an interpreter with the best recommendations, study under Casals who played it here and in London ...  It was a most distinguished performance."
