Edwards, Alastair

Alastair Edwards was born in Preston, Lancashire and in 1995 was living in Edinburgh and Shetland.  He was educated at St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh where he studied composition with Geoffrey King, Alasdair Nicolson and Lyell Cresswell before studying music at Manchester University and completing a PhD in composition at the University of Edinburgh.
